Last Friday, on the ever-mystical 13th, I was granted an exclusive preview of the much-anticipated Mayday Handcrafted Ice Creams nestled in the heart of St. Johns Town Center. As I stepped into the space, the ambiance immediately enveloped me, offering a blend of modern chic and nostalgic charm.

While my little Logan wasn’t by my side for this particular adventure, I couldn’t help but envision his joy and wonder at the sight of the vibrant ice cream display. The Black Vanilla Ice Cream, a unique fusion of Vanilla Bean and Charcoal, was my first pick. Each spoonful was a dance of flavors, creamy yet bold, making me anticipate the shared moments of delight when Logan gets to taste it on our next visit.
Mayday Collab with Dos Coffee & Wine
But Mayday isn’t just about ice creams. Their collaboration with DOS Coffee & Wine is nothing short of genius. I decided to indulge in a Chai Tea Latte, and it was a revelation. The robust spice hit first, awakening the senses, followed by a silky, smooth finish that was both comforting and invigorating. It’s the kind of drink that warms you from the inside out, making it a perfect companion for those cooler Florida evenings.

The establishment boasts both indoor and outdoor seating, catering to every mood and preference. The indoor area, with its cozy corners and ambient lighting, is perfect for intimate conversations, while the outdoor space, bathed in natural light, offers a refreshing atmosphere for those looking to bask in the Florida sun.
Take Mayday Home
One feature that particularly caught my eye was the option to take home pints of their handcrafted ice creams. I immediately thought of our family game nights. What better way to elevate the experience than with a tub of Mayday’s finest?
Mayday is MAYD for Memories
Stephen DiMare’s vision for Mayday Handcrafted Ice Creams, combined with the aromatic allure of DOS Coffee & Wine, has created a haven for both families and individuals. It’s a place where memories are waiting to be made, where every visit promises a new flavor, a new experience.
While this solo visit was filled with delightful discoveries, I’m eagerly awaiting the day I return with Logan in tow. Between the ice creams, the coffee, and the ambiance, Mayday is set to become a cherished spot in our family’s repertoire of outings.
