Let’s talk floors. When we bought our house in 2018, all the bedrooms had carpet and not just any carpet. Extremely light almost beige white carpet which when you have dogs, doesn’t work out so well in our favor. For the entirety of 2020 we went back and forth on what flooring we wanted to do and with price shifts and inventory depletion we decided to hold off until the perfect flooring made its way to us. Manifestation of design if you will. Enter everhome™ flooring to our lives and our home.

Why everhome™?
That is where everhome™ enters the picture. In 2022 I had the great opportunity to partner with everhome™ floors. With over 35 years of experience and with clients in over 20 different countries, everhome™ has cultivated a company culture around excellent service for our customers. Customer satisfaction is at the forefront of their business, which is why everhome™ is here for you when you need them.
What I love about everhome™ is the QUALITY. It is unmatched. Their floor designers have thoughtfully curated a boutique collection of high-quality Rigid Core SPC vinyl for every interior style, with shades and finishes inspired by the latest in home décor trends.

Installing really is as easy as 1-2-3 because their flooring is click and go! It took about 3 hours with cutting to complete one 10×13 room! What is great is you can use their room visualizer to see how the flooring will come to life. You guys probably remember my IG story asking your opinions on if we should go Rustic Beachwood or Northern Oak.

Is everhome™ flooring really as durable as they say?
Now, you’re probably wondering why this blog is coming 6 months after installation. 1. We ran out of flooring and had to wait for more and 2. It is all about everlasting quality and if these floors could survive the test of a little time. We have 2 very active and playful dogs, a tornado of a toddler and 2 busy adults just trying to survive. But did the floor survive with us? Short answer: YES!
Long answer: ABSOLUTELY YES!
These floors have survived post beach days, dog throw up, crayons, and more! everhome rigid core vinyl flooring is 100% waterproof and has enhanced scratch resistant. But how is it so durable? All of their SPC vinyl has a no-wax surface wear layer offers optimal stain resistance. It is layered with urethane ensuring it is more durable against everyday scratches and scuffs. everhome™’s Rigid Core SPC Vinyl flooring is also completely waterproof.
Lets talk everhome™ installation.
Rigid Core SPC vinyl flooring is easy to install with our simple fold-down installation. Keep in mind when installing your vinyl flooring that it should be placed on a solid, flat surface. Further, it is recommended that you purchase extra materials to compensate for waste during the install process. Before you install, ensure that the subfloor area is levelled, clean and free of debris. Due to seasonal temperature shifts, there will be a natural contraction of the planks, so ensure you leave an expansion gap around the perimeter of the room to compensate. The flooring should also be mixed and matched from different boxes to reduce shade repetition during install.
