Easter Basket for Your Toddler < 2

Why is Easter always so chotchky?

It’s stuffed animal this, useless item that. & I for one am OVER IT. I need things that go the distance & have some longevity to them. I can tell you right now that Logan needs not one more fricken stuffed animal or blanket for his entire life, EVER.

So when I began to put his Easter basket together this year, I thought of things that would provide an active learning experience. I have come to the harsh reality that I am not and never will be a “Pinterest Mom”, I am a Mom of convenience & necessity. I was actually scrolling through it today for some “crafts” for Logan to do for Easter and was overwhelmed at the amount of supplies that I didn’t have. Like what ever happened to a paper & some crayon? (This triggered me filling an Amazon cart of art supplies for a later date because why not have some guacamole extra fun?)

Back to convenience. I love Amazon. It is my love language, my spirit animal and a close 2nd on the soul mate scale. Amazon is BAE. So that’s why when it came to filling his basket, I turned to my bestie. The ‘zon. With a little sprinkle of Target Dollar Spot & 5 Below. But for the sake of social distancing, I will find some similar items on Amazon for you.

Here is a list of everything I got for Logan with links! Happy Hunting.

  • Ukelele — I got Logans at 5 Below. But this one is adorable & has great reviews. $24.99 ~ https://amzn.to/33YupFD
  • Bubble Wand — This item I got from the Target dollar spot in early March, it might still be available but please STAY HOME! Snag these. You get 14 of them in 7 colors. $14.95 ~ https://amzn.to/39zjPGd
  • Peppa Pig Sticker Book — Logan is Pep OBSESSED. Seriously the minute he hears the theme song, he is in the zone. So this item was an absolute MUST. I also snagged this from 5 Below but here is a great dupe. $5.95 ~ https://amzn.to/2JrTmjd
  • Disney Mickey Imagine Ink Coloring Book — LOVE this mess free activity. 1 for $5.99 ~ https://amzn.to/2WZGc5c OR 3 for $14.95 (includes sticker books!) ~ https://amzn.to/341iHtR
  • Puzzles — these are one of my favorite Amazon gems to date! 6 puzzles for $19.99 ~ https://amzn.to/3aAmGQv
  • CandyLab Toys Wooden Cars — I can’t take credit for this one. My Dad & Step Mom sent this to Logan (after a suggestion from me). These novelty toys are definitely going to become a collectors item in this house. I definitely want them all. The prices vary depending on what you want. This is the one Logan has – $24.99 ~ https://amzn.to/2QYcGIU
  • Easter Chalk — I found mine at the Target dollar spot. They are “okay” quality & I already know they will wear down and out REALLY FAST. Here is a pack of 18 for $24.99 ~ https://amzn.to/3dL9iLi
  • This Little President Book — $5.79 ~ https://amzn.to/2V42W1l
  • This Little Explorer Book — $4.99 ~ https://amzn.to/2Uydqa7
  • This Little Dreamer — $6.59 ~ https://amzn.to/3aycUhD
    • I don’t know why all these books are different prices but it is what it is.
  • Star Wars Creativity Floor Pad — You already know we are the ultimate Star Wars nerds over here, so when I saw this at 5 Below it was a MUST HAVE. This item is exclusive to 5 Below and I couldn’t find a dupe that would serve the fandom justice. So here is an awesome Star Wars coloring book that I think looks amazing. $10.49 ~ https://amzn.to/3bK4HHl
  • Mini Play Doh — $7.99 ~ https://amzn.to/2ypg9Kn
  • Thomas & Friends : Harold Helicopter — $5.99 ~ https://amzn.to/2Uwm74z

Everything that I linked was available & ready to arrive prior to Easter at the time I linked everything. I hope it stays that way for y’all!

These were my finds for this year. Mostly artsy items because we are stuck inside & I love when Logan gets creative. He loves to color his Dino coloring book so I can’t wait to see his face when he sees his new Star Wars ones OR his first sticker book with Peppa stickers.

After a time she heard a little pattering of feet in the distance, and she hastily dried her eyes to see what was coming. It was the White Rabbit returning, splendidly dressed, with a pair of white kid gloves.
