1 | Tell me about your company… What does your company do?
Roses N Rosé is a skincare line based out of San Diego, California. We specialize in all natural, organic and vegan ingredients!
2 | How long have you been in business or developing your brand?
I got the idea to start Roses about 6-7 months ago and officially launched in March of 2017, so we have been in business for less than a year.
3 | What are some challenges you have faced being an entrepreneur?
One of my biggest challenges, is time management. I try my very best to get back to everyone, respond to all emails, comments, messages, everything all while trying to find new retailers, keep count of inventory, manage social media, and get orders out on time.
4 | How much has social media impacted your business?
Social media is amazing, it’s in my opinion the whole reason I have been able to get this to where it is today. It’s been a huge impact. People are visual. They can hear about something all they want, but once they see it, see WHO is using it (which is huge these days.) see how to use it, the results, different ways to use it, etc. They are all about it. Social media and Instagram specifically, I feel is today’s new marketing platform and the new form of blogging.
5 | What makes you unique to other professionals in your space?
I do everything myself, although I use the words “we” and “us” it’s actually just me. Hello world! Everything from social media, emailing, labeling, and actually creating the product, I do all myself. All the products are 100% handcrafted. Two of our products, the Rosie Cheeks Scrub and the Sunshine Scrub go towards charities, which I love and feel more businesses/companies should do!
6 | What advice can you give to your fellow millennial entrepreneurs?
My BIGGEST piece of advice for anyone, is just go for it. I feel like people are always over thinking things and scaring themselves out of what they really want and find reasons not to follow through with things. But why not?? Just do what you want!
7 | Bossfidence is all about finding your bliss and building your confidence, how did you know that you needed to branch out from your comfort zone?
Leaving my comfort zone has never been much of an issue for me. I rarely think things through before doing it. It sounds bad, and it’s had it’s pros and cons, but the pros have definitely weighed out the cons by a long shot. I’ve learned a lot but I also love a good challenge!
8 | Who is your biggest influencer or inspiration?
Influencer inspiration…there’s a few! I LOOOOVE Erica Stolman @fashionlush she’s just so real with everyone. Of course a huge fan of Lauyrn Evarts @theskinnyconfidential and Haley & Jordan @haleyandjordan7 are just adorable!
