Meet Bri Seeley, she is an inspirational woman who supports women around the world in bringing their visions to life.
1 | Tell me about your company… What does your company do?
My company supports women to bring their visions to life. I work directly with women who have a deeper calling, who feel completely unfulfilled and unsatisfied with the life they’re living, and I support them in expanding into the greatness they desire by building that thing existing inside which is begging to be brought to life. My job is to be a combination ass kicker, perspective shifter, container expander and overall life changer for my clients. In addition to direct teaching, I also speak at events and conferences and have recently authored Permission to Leap, a book to support you in bringing your vision to life.
2 | How long have you been working as a transformation coach?
I have been an entrepreneur for a decade, but my journey started by owning an eponymous fashion brand filled with luxuriously feminine garments. Three years ago, I received guidance in meditation to close that business and did so without knowing what was next. The week I closed my brand, I began realizing that the Universe had been leaving me winks and nudges for almost a year – all asking me to step into teaching, mentoring and coaching. Once I had created the space in my life it was clear to me this was the next evolution in my life and business.
3 | What are some challenges you have faced being an entrepreneur?
Where do I even start? Each day, each week, each month presents new iterations of challenges. I’d say that one of the most consistent challenges I experience and see in my clients is entrepreneurship does not come with a manual or a map. Everyday we wake up without a concrete plan or direction. Everyday it is our job to turn ideas into form. Everyday we start with nothing and make something. It can be really difficult to know what to focus on, which actions to take, where to invest time and money, and how to move forward.
The way I’ve overcome this is surrender. I’ve learned that as a human, my perspective is very limited because I can only rely on the external stimuli that is available to me in the moment. Whereas, if I access Universal energy and tap into the depth of possibility surrounding me that I cannot yet see or touch, it gives me greater guidance and creates from a more expanded place. I have implemented an ‘inspired action’ practice to overcome this challenge, and now teach my clients how to do the same in their life.
4 | How much has social media impacted your business?
Social media has been the key to my business success. It has allowed me to touch lives all around the globe simultaneously, deliver trainings digitally and get in front of people that would have otherwise never met me.
5 | What motivated you to take the leap and start your own brand?
Growing up with an entrepreneurial mom, I always said that it wasn’t for me – there was no way I would be an entrepreneur. After grad school, I found myself in a small community in Washington which had no opportunities for me to apply my training, knowledge and passion for fashion. I decided to get a business license and start doing small things here and there. Year after year my brand grew. After six years, I found myself on stages at LA Fashion Week, relocating to Los Angeles and dressing major celebrities.
For that particular leap, it was a much more gradual and slow process. Which, I believe, it needed to be. I did a lot of growing up during those years and joke that my fashion brand was like my entrepreneurial training wheels. Now when I go to make a leap, I’m much more confident and purposeful. Take my book as an example. I received guidance in January that I was writing it, left LA for three weeks in June to write it and it launched on Amazon in November.
6 | What advice can you give to your fellow millennial entrepreneurs?
Listen to the whispers, feel the nudges and follow the breadcrumbs now. Don’t wait. No matter how big or small the steps are, take a step everyday towards your vision. Keep showing up for it and it will meet you there.
7 | What is your favorite product and why?
I could not live without Republic of Tea. I bulk order their Hi-Caf Toasted Coconut tea and drink it everyday. It even travels with me!
I had to go off coffee a few years ago due to health reasons, which broke my heart for a few reasons…. 1. Caffeine and 2. my morning routine. I love preparing and having a cup of something warm in the mornings. Finding this tea was a godsend – it’s delicious, it helps me get going and it gives me a little slice of home no matter where I am.
8 | Who is your biggest influencer or inspiration?
My biggest inspiration is the women who say yes to their visions and take a daring leap of faith. Their willingness to dive into their fears, move past their current reality / into their possibility and their ability to show up for their transformation is awe inspiring. It is what continues to get me out of bed everyday.
