How To Go Grocery Shopping On A Tight Budget

September 20, 2017September 18, 2017 Bossfidence-Admin Leave a comment

Do you wanna learn how to go grocery shopping on a tight budget? I’m gonna share with you three easy quick tips right now.

#1 Buy in Bulk

When you purchase your food at wholesale prices, you not only save tons of money but you alsosave tons of time of constantly going to the store and buying foods that you always buy on a weekly bases. So why not get it all in one swoop. Go to your local wholesale store like Costco and buy foods that you always prepare. For me, I am always preparing some type of protein, whether it is fish, chicken or salmon or something like that. Same with my foods that go in the pantry such as my chia seeds, my mixed nuts, my protein powders, all of that stuff I try to get it all at wholesale prices so that I can save my time and my money each week.

#2 Buy what’s on sale

Once things are on sale, it’s probably because:

  • They are in season
  • They have a surplus of that items so they want to give it away.

So take advantage of those sale and make sure that you’re getting things that are in season. When things are in season there are usually cheaper and have more of it in the store which is why it is always on sale. So get those sale, save money when you’re doing that and you’re gonna be able to eat fresher foods in the process.

#3 Cook everything at home

When you cook at home you are not only controlling how much you eat, the calories in which you eat it and also the ingredients that you put in your food but it also helps you save tons of money each week by getting your food at the store and preparing it at home. This helps you to get away from restaurants, fast foods, drive thru’s that charge you anywhere between $5 to $20 depending on where you go. You can make all of those foods, make them taste delicious and make sure that it’s healthy in less than $5 per meal. So make sure to buy your food, prepare it and eat everything at home so that you can’t prevent all of that added extra cost when you were going out to eat.

After a time she heard a little pattering of feet in the distance, and she hastily dried her eyes to see what was coming. It was the White Rabbit returning, splendidly dressed, with a pair of white kid gloves.
