This week our success tips is taking a philanthropic turn. On Sunday/Monday (October 1-2, 2017) there was a domestic terrorist attack at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas. This is a country concert that has been on going for a few years now that many people I know and love have had the luxury of experiencing. That luxury took a turn for the worst when an armed gunman took to the crowd murdering and injuring many loved ones. As a country music fan and a former festival goer, my heart is absolutely shattered. Six degrees of separation is real, someone you know knows someone either recovering from injury or trauma from that night. Bossfidence is all about supporting those around us on their path of success regardless of what type of success it is. Here are the top 5 organizations to donate to, to make an impact for the victims and first responders in Las Vegas.
1 | License to Boot
One of my favorite online country retailers has an adorable shirt that says “Country Strong” inside a heart lasso. The best part? 100% of the proceeds go toward the National Compassion fund. They donate 100% directly to victims of Route 91 Las Vegas Shooting. If you would like to donate, purchase a shirt from small business License to Boot. https://www.licensetoboot.com/collections/vegas
2 | GoFundMe
A few of my friends have posted links of friends close to them who have been affected by the tragedy. Here are just a few:
- Dominica was a victim of the Route 91 Country Festival shooting that took place in Las Vegas, Nevada last night. I am so grateful that she is out of surgery and now in stable condition, but the road to recovery is going to be a long one. Prayers and support for her and her family at this time are being asked from all of us, as a community. https://www.gofundme.com/road-to-recovery-for-dominica

Amber & Michaela are daughters, sisters, friends, moms, wives and so much more! These two were victims of the mass shooting at Route 91 in Las Vegas, NV last night. Both were shot, have undergone surgery and are currently in recovery with so much to overcome going forward. All funds will go directly to them to help with medical expenses, recovery costs, transportation and/or loss of work during recuperation. https://www.gofundme.com/cuh9yb-ambers-recovery
- Mr & Mrs. Bugnami. Frank Bignami was shot in his wrist and is ok but his wife Autumn needs prayers; she was shot in the face and back and was in surgery all night. They are both teachers at Paramount High school, and I’m sure that they’re medical bills will be expensive & this is something that no one prepares for so please help them in they’re time of need. Every penny helps. https://www.gofundme.com/mr-mrs-bignami-las-vegas

In Memory of Sandra Casey. Chris Willemse fiancé Sandy has passed away from that tragic Las Vegas shooting last night (Oct 1st) She was hit by one of the bullets and did not make it. Their good friend is wanting to get donations to help somehow. Anything is greatly appreciated. https://www.gofundme.com/m8gq2v-in-memory-of-sandra-casey

4 | Donate Blood
EDIT: As of October 3, 2017 the city of Las Vegas is no longer accepting blood donations. However, it is always great to donate blood in the event a tragedy like this occurs.
If you are in the Las Vegas area, they are in desperate need of blood donations; especially if you know you have a rare blood type.

If you or anyone you know is still looking for a loved one, here is the contact numbers. Also, there is a location to donate blood.
